After acing her exams, Berry Shirayuki, a 12-year-old girl full of joy and positivity, gets accepted into a prestigious all-girls school. Though her next-door neighbor Tasuku Meguro's friendly comments are largely unwelcome, Berry's first day seems to go off without a hitch. That is, until she almost trips on the stairs, only to be saved by a blonde-haired boy. Eager to thank him, she follows him to Café Mew Mew, where she stumbles upon a shining statue projecting visions of a cat and rabbit. Before she knows it, Berry transforms into a white-costumed magical girl with a cat tail and bunny ears, alongside the other members of Tokyo Mew Mew. As Berry navigates her newfound powers and animal instincts, she must also face an unknown enemy who poses a threat to the city, and to her new role as a protector of the peace. Her recent transformation has turned her into a target for this villainous group who are hunting for a fresh rabbit. In Volume 2, readers will be introduced to Usagi no Furasu Hoshi, an intriguing and exciting one-shot included in the series!
