Ren had broken the world record for completing the sequel of the widely adored game, "The Legend of the Seven Heroes." He was entitled to the exclusive bonus data but couldn't locate it despite his intense search through the game. After losing all hope, Ren decided to start the game anew. Surprisingly, he was asked if he wished to embark on a special quest, which he agreed to with no hesitation. Soon after, he lost consciousness only to awaken as a baby. Ren couldn't believe it - had he been reborn as one of the game's characters? His disbelief melted away once his mother called him by the same name as one of his classmates who had betrayed the heroes halfway through the game. Unfortunately, his peaceful hopes shattered when he was forced to cross paths with a saint whose life he was supposed to end. Instead of fulfilling his duty, he decided to spare the saint and even rescued the boss of a set of powerful nobles from death. The paths these events opened up for Ren were beyond his wildest imagination.
