Although Kurogane Hiroto excels academically as the top of his high school class, he lags behind in physical activity due to his weak body lacking endurance, speed, and strength. Despite this, Hiroto yearns to become a hero, but fate seems to be stacking the odds against him. He possesses exceptional eyesight, surpassing even the most skilled athletes, yet his body cannot keep up. Upon hearing a rumor about a ghost named Tojo Sayuri, who roams the city wielding a katana, Hiroto's friend Shiratori convinces him to investigate. Unbeknownst to Hiroto, Sayuri has been searching for a worthy successor to her Sakura sword style for 150 years. When Hiroto encounters the ghost and is able to dodge her attack, Sayuri selects him as her protégé and forces him to master the Sakura style. Thanks to the aid of the ancient swordsman ghost, Hiroto must find a way to overcome his own physical limitations and become the hero he has always dreamed of becoming.
