Lost in contemplation of his guitar, Mafuyu Satou channels his innermost feelings of regret, yearning, and anguish through a haunting melody that has been lodged in his mind. Although Mafuyu's outward appearance may suggest a lackadaisical attitude, his true emotions remain concealed from the world. In a stroke of good fortune, his life takes a positive turn when he meets his classmate, Ritsuka Uenoyama. As the lead guitarist of an instrumental band that includes bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji, Uenoyama and his group have merited numerous accolades from their musical performances. However, when Uenoyama hears Mafuyu's singing, he is captivated and urges Mafuyu to join their band for even greater success. Band life can be challenging, and emotions can serve as both a bond and a dividing force. Under Uenoyama's tutelage, Mafuyu finally has an opportunity to express his deepest emotions through music.
